Elisapee Karetak's home town is Arviat and she has lived there most of her life. Elisapee built a career in teaching and now teaches at the John Arnalukjuaq High School. It is interesting that she teaches a second generation of students that she taught earlier in my teaching career. Elisapee was a board member of Nunavut Sivuniksavut for 10 years, and as the newest member of the NSRT, she looks forward to learning and contributing to the board as she did with NS.
